Hassan Abbas
Research Fellow, Project on Managing the Atom/International Security Program
Dr. Hassan Abbas received his Ph.D. from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University. His research interests are Pakistan's nuclear program and the Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan controversy; religious extremism in South and Central Asia, and Islam and the West.
General (ret.) John P. Abizaid
Senior Advisor, Preventive Defense Project
General (ret.) Abizaid retired from the U.S. Army in May 2007, after 34 years of active service. After graduating from the United States Military Academy at West Point, he rose from infantry platoon leader to become the youngest four-star general in the Army and the longest-serving commander of U.S. Central Command.
Doug Ahlers
Adjunct Senior Fellow
Doug Ahlers helped pioneer e-commerce and online advertising. He co-founded Modem Media, Inc., which created Internet strategies for Fortune 500 companies. He is currently working on a book that examines the role of the Internet in the changing power dynamic between individuals/groups and nation-states. A resident of New Orleans, he started the Kennedy School Broadmoor Project, a collaborative redevelopment effort between the hurricane-devastated Broadmoor neighborhood and KSG.
May Al-Dabbagh
Research Associate, The Dubai Initiative
May Al-Dabbagh is a research associate with The Dubai Initiative, research fellow and lecturer at the Dubai School of Government (DSG) where she is director of the Gender and Public Policy Program and faculty advisor for the Women and Leadership Development Program. Her primary area of interest is gender and public policy with a particular focus on countries of the Gulf Cooperative Council.

Mohamad Al-Ississ is a Research Fellow with The Dubai Initiative and a Ph.D. Candidate in Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School.
Mohammed Al-Juaied
Mohammed Al-Juaied, Visiting Scholar, Energy Technology Innovation Policy research group
Mohammed Al-Juaied is Team Leader for Carbon Management at Saudi Aramco’s Research & Development Centre in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. Mohammed has worked for Saudi Aramco since 1995 in several different areas, including refining, gas processing, and upstream oil activities.
Joseph Aldy

Joe Aldy is a Fellow at Resources for the Future. His research addresses questions about climate change policy, mortality risk valuation, energy subsidies to low-income households, and energy policy.

Anadon's current research interests include: the intersection between science, technology and environmental policy; energy-technology evaluation and its use in the development of energy policy, particularly in the context of environmental constraints; and the role of international cooperation in addressing the world's energy problems.
